The Lord's birthday is swiftly coming
Christmas carols we're merrily humming,
Adoration and harmony spreads worldwide
As we eagerly await the happy Yuletide.
As the eve is rang in by sleigh bells chime
We'll be missing you this Christmastime,
The grandest gift you could give to me
Would be you before our Christmas tree.
Families should gather this time of year
And treasured friends ought to be here
But since you can't be here nor we there
We have a Christmas wish to share.
Soon Santa begins his crisscross tours
So Merry Christmas to you and yours
Before he makes his Christmas Eve start
We wish you happy holidays from our heart.
We wish you a grand Christmas full of grace
And lots of sweet treats all over the place,
We hope you get everything on your wish list
And under the mistletoe you'll be kissed.
May you be showered with blessings Christmas day
May your hopes and dreams be filled in every way,
We hope your family and good friends join as one
Embraced by love as Christmas is begun.
Since we can't be there or be blessed by you here
Have a bountiful table and hearts full of cheer,
As you hold hands around the feast to pray
Remember us on The Lord's birthday.
We'll be thinking of you and yours on Christmas day
So I guess there's just one more thing to say,
May God bless you, your lifetime through,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too.
