Have you read the Bible lately Or is it just lying stately, Gathering dust on some table, Discarded as a book of fable. How long has it been Since you entered in A church front door And didn't think it a bore? How long has it been Since you've told a friend About Jesus and his love Or joys of Heaven above? When did you last help someone Whose life has been undone? When did you give money or time To one that doesn't have a dime? How long do you think You can stand on the brink Between Heaven or Hell's route Before your time finally runs out? How long has it been Since you ask Jesus in?
