Poetry By Ken in Rainbow Colors

Once not so long ago
As true love will go,
I loved deeply
And completely.

My body, my very soul
And heart she stole,
I belonged only to her,
Drifting in desires blur.

In love I surrendered all
To a temptress call,
My heart lay bare at her feet,
I felt my world complete.

Her alluring love I lost
And to high the cost,
I gave her everything,
Then a wedding ring.

Now love lies over the sea
With other than me,
Deceiving however another
Unsuspecting lover.

Lost and lovesick I yearn
For her eventual return
But longing will be wasted,
Bitter heartache I've tasted.

No, loves sweet refrain
Will never sing again
Nor could it sound so sweet
As when sang with deceit.

Not once ever anymore
Will I open loves door,
Forever locked it shall be,
Love, you are faceless to me.
