Poetry By Ken in Rainbow Colors

I laid you in cold ground
With well-wishers around,
They watched me bury you,
That painful day I died too.

Completely lost, I'm broken,
No kindly words spoken
Or warm sympathy embrace,
Can ever take your place.

Time will never heal me,
Make me as I used to be,
Nor will it mend my heart,
Time is tearing me apart.

I'm lost, living life alone,
Forever you are gone,
I don't know how to go on,
My heart's cold stone.

Moment's are a dark dream
Nothing is what it seems,
Words of pity only sounds,
No comfort can be found.

I have no more tears to cry
Still I can't say goodbye,
I have no more pain to give,
I'll love you as long as I live.

In despair I scream your name
Only in memory you came,
Just bits and pieces of life
We shared as husband and wife.

At times I feel you're near
I hear whispers in my ear,
I can feel your tender touch,
I miss you so much.

There is no now or tomorrow
Only loneliness, only sorrow,
Through years and tears I'll pray
We're joined in Heaven one day.
