I Love You by Kenneth J Ellison

I Love You Island Dreams

I love you divided heart

There are many words to say
If I while away the day
Writing them down to describe
The love I feel inside.

If I write them down in a note
Thoughtfully heartfelt wrote
The note will never be finished,
My true feelings diminished.

For if there were words to write
To delight when you recite,
Words wouldn't be enough I know
To allow my emotions to show.

There aren't enough words to say,
Not enough to ever convey
The love I feel in my heart for you,
Mere words would never do.

Some flowery words can enhance
The beauty of our romance,
They're pleasing to hear when said
And charm the heart when read.

But if I put them together forever
They would not be enough however
To say how much I love you dear,
The message would not be clear.

Romantic writers have penned
Beautiful words into a blend
But their love words are not ideal,
They cannot describe how I feel.

My heart is filled with you today
And I wish I knew what to say,
The right words are so very few
So I'll simply say, I love you.

I love you divided heart
