Poetry By Ken in Rainbow Colors

What star are you under tonight?
Did you go far with your flight?
Are you sleeping someplace grand,
I miss you my husband.

You left a long time ago my dear
Yet I feel your warmth near,
I feel your arms in loving embrace,
I see that smile on your rugged face.

I'll never understand why you're gone
Never get used to being alone,
You shattered my happy life apart,
When you left you took my heart.

I wish another lover was the reason
For your heartbreaking treason,
Then I could understand it all now,
The betrayal of your wedding vow.

Until death do us part, you swore
But as all the promises before,
You left them broken on the floor
When you walked out the door.

For weeks you were acting so strange,
Finally saying you wanted a change
And I wasn't the reason for leaving
Yet I'm the one left grieving.

My tears may dry some distant day
A little sunshine will come my way.
Bits of happiness may come I hope
Until then I'll yearn and cope.

I daydream of happier tomorrows,
Nights I pray too ease my sorrows,
Will I ever get over the heartache?
Perhaps my lifetime it will take.

Tonight seems worst of all sweetheart
And wherever you are with my heart,
Know that I'll forever love you and
I miss you my husband.
