I release all worry
I'm in no hurry,
I rest in sunny rays
Soothed by a balmy day.
Daydreaming I repose
Where flowers grow,
Time is standing still,
I'm wishing it ever will.
Sunbeams dance in yard,
Living seems not so hard,
Troubles are melted away
This perfect summer day.
Sweet scents drift to me,
I'm pleased at all I see,
I'm at peace where I lie
Watching clouds sail by.
Songbirds sing just for me
From inside the willow tree
Where their babies nest,
They guessed I need rest.
Contentment of mind I find
Leaving my cares behind,
I close my eyes to dream,
Basking in sunshine beams.
Peace and harmony abound
Here where I laid me down,
There is tranquility around
Far from the bustling town.
At my place in green grass
I dread this day to pass
Though I know it soon will
Painting a sunset over hills.
