Spring Brings

Spring will bring
Birds that sing,
Cow bells that ring,
Out in the fields
Of yellow daffodils.

Spring will bring
Birth of new things,
Butterflies on wing
And trees of green.

Spring will bring
Beautiful scenes,
A feeling serene
Amid beauty seen.

Spring will bring
Vines that cling
With rosebuds red
Over garden beds.

Spring will bring
Hummingbird zings
Neath puffy clouds
Over crow flocks loud.

Spring will bring
Warm sunbeams
And early daylight
Before starry nights.

Spring will bring hope
Keeping our spirits afloat
As we wait for winter's end
And another spring to begin.
