Poetry By Ken in Rainbow Colors

Lately I am so confused
And slightly amused
At the chaos in my mind,
Complete bedlam I find.

Could be your old age
Quipped a comic sage,
Perhaps you are senile
After such a long while.

I studied what he said,
Let it rattle in my head
And really he was right,
Getting old is my plight.

My good days are few
Nothing appears new,
Daily it's the same story,
Life is losing it's glory.

Stuck in a rut half-crazed
I'm puzzled and dazed
And now my mind it seems
Is parting at the seams.

I can't remember yesterday
Or why I wanted to anyway,
Was it important or not?
Dunno, I completely forgot.

There's a woman in my house
Who may be my spouse
She is constantly annoying me
So she might be.

Amnesia could be a blessing
And soon will be I'm guessing,
When my thoughts totally scatter
What I can't recall won't matter.
