Poetry By Ken in Rainbow Colors

I've found myself in great need
I'm yearning for one indeed,
My last one was in December
Or November? I don't remember!

I reflected as I lazily reposed
And shortly cleverly supposed,
If I don't enjoy one very soon
I may as well be on the Moon.

On the Moon with just one glance
I'd know there was no fair chance
To overcome this desire that rises
But on Earth I hope for surprises.

Perhaps one will casually come by
Or maybe I could find one if I try,
It's a shame they aren't in a store
I'd buy a years' supply or more.

The world around me has dulled
I realized as I quizzically mulled
But living would be more glittery
And with one I'd be less jittery.

My friend tried to find me one divine
But I feel like an ugly withering vine,
Any prospects are becoming bleak,
I had none after an uneasy week.

This Saturday night I'll start my quest
And perhaps by chance I'll be blest,
I'll have on my most alluring clothes
And just maybe I'll get one of those.

I am tired of existing in a state of wait,
It should not be so hard to get a date,
I think my last date was in December
Or November? Gosh I can't remember.
